It will most likely be a broken or worn internal part which is discovered on removing your transmission or while performing the auto repair. Where other companies charge for replacing these parts at Academy Transmissions we absorb the cost and include these replacements as part of our original quote. In a nutshell unless it is something really major (and we would always contact you before proceeding) we never spring any “surprise” costs.
